Asin, the former actor, exclusively uses Instagram to post snapshots from her daughter Arin’s birthday festivities.
Asin has reemerged on Instagram for her annual ritual of posting pictures from daughter Arin’s birthday celebrations. Every year, Asin posts only one post on Instagram–a birthday wish for Arin. This year, she did not even make a post but simply shared a couple of photos on her IG story.
The pictures show Arin sitting in her father Rahul Sharma’s lap at a restaurant. She has a plate of waffles in front of her with a small candle on them. She blows out the candle as Rahul, Asin and a server sing for her. Arin turned 6 on Tuesday.

Last year, Asin had shared photos from Arin’s fifth birthday. She wrote, “SHE is the light of our lives and it’s her birthday TODAY!!!!! HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY ARIN! We love you infinitely, immeasurably, immensely, eternally and not just to the moon and back! To the brightest kid with the kindest heart, sparkliest smile, wittiest remarks and cutest dance moves… we lovee watching you grow! Rock-et li’l rockstar! Have a blast!” Before that, Asin shared photos from Arin’s superhero themed fourth birthday as well.
Asin married Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma in January 2016. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter Arin in October 2017.
After the birth of their daughter, the couple earlier released an official statement where they said, “We are ecstatic to announce the arrival of our angelic baby girl. The last 9 months have been most special and exciting for the both of us and we would like to thank all our well-wishers and everyone who has been part of our journey for all their love and support.”
After her marriage Asin decided to quit the film industry. She was last seen in 2015’s comedy All Is Well, co-starring Abhishek Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor and Supriya Pathak.
She was a part for several big hit Bollywood films like Ghajini, Ready, Bol Bachchan, and Housefull 2 among others. She also appeared in several South Indian films.
