A few weeks ago, global icon Priyanka Chopra Jonas landed in her city Mumbai with husband Nick Jonas to kick-start the global tour of Citadel . But the sweetest surprise for fans was seeing their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas with them at the airport. Priyanka’s hectic but exciting workation turned into her daughter’s first trip to India. Well, during her trip, the star kid not only enjoyed quality time at her grandmother’s house being showered by love but also visited the Siddhivinayak temple to seek blessings with her mommy.
Her thoughts on visiting Mumbai with Malti Marie
Well, in a recent chat with Extra TV, our desi girl revealed how emotional it was for her to begin the global tour of her upcoming web series in Mumbai, surrounded by friends and family. Talking about her daughter Malti Marie’s first trip to India, Priyanka shared, “It was Malti’s first time in India. It was Malti’s first time in Mumbai. She loves it. She loved everything about it, from the sights to the sounds, to the food… from going to her nani’s house, which is my mom’s house. She loved everything about it.”
Chopra-Jonas came to Mumbai for Citadel global tour
Currently Priyanka is in London for the grand premiere of Citadel. Also starring Richard Madden in the lead, the science fiction action thriller series will arrive on streaming platform Amazon Prime Video on 28th April with the first two episodes. The series will also get local spin offs in several countries. For instance, the Indian series will be helmed by ace filmmaker duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. It will star Bollywood heartthrob Varun Dhawan and South beauty Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead.
Post Citadel promotions, Priyanka will be seen in American romantic comedy Love Again with Sam Heughan and Celine Dion. PeeCee will also soon begin shooting for her next film Heads of State in UK, where Nick will be on tour.
