The third installment to the blockbuster Singham franchise titled Singham Again is inevitably one of the most awaited films on the block. The super hit duo of Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty will be back with full force soon. And now, much to the happiness of the fans, the release date of the film is out now.
The movie is slated to release next year
Yes, you heard it right! The film is all set to be released on August 15, 2024. The Singham franchise often revolves around Ajay Devgn as Bajirao Singham fighting against all the malpractices and injustices plaguing the nation which makes it perfect for an Independence Day release. According to a news report in 123 Telugu, the shooting for the same will begin in August 2023.
For the unversed, the arrival of Singham 3 was also hinted at when Ajay Devgn made a cameo appearance along with Ranveer Singh in Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi which is a part of Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. Considering both Rohit and Ajay’s previous directorial ventures Cirkus and Bholaa tanked at the box office, Singham Again might redeem the situation a great deal. In an earlier interview with Pinkvilla in August last year, speaking about Singham 3, Rohit said, “We have already started working on Singham 3. It has been a long time since I made an out-and-out Singham film. We start the shoot next year in April. Ajay Sir is busy with his commitments and I am also busy with Cirkus. So, by April, we will start Singham 3. It is going to be the biggest cop universe ever that we have made to date.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ajay Devgn also has the film Maidaan in the pipeline. The movie is a sports biographical flick which will be directed by Amit Sharma.
