Veteran actor Moushumi Chatterjee will be appearing on The Kapil Sharma Show with actor Reena Roy. Moushumi’s sassy replies on “The Kapil Sharma Show”

Earlier, a teaser had given a sneak peek into what to expect from the episode as Moushumi left Kapil Sharma speechless with her sassy replies. Apart from Kapil, even Krushna Abhishek was unable to complete his lines and fumbled a couple of times as Moushumi silenced him with her remarks.

 On film heroes

Now, according to a report from Indian Express, Moushumi took a dig at the new generation of actors and said, “Pehle ke hero ko aapko bolna nahi padta tha ki ye hero hai, dikhta tha ki hero hai. Abhi toh baaju mein ho aur poocho hero kaun hai, toh dusra bolega, ‘Chup, baaju mein hi toh hai’ (Earlier, you did not have to ask who is the hero as it was quite evident from the looks itself. Today, you won’t recognise a hero even if he will be standing right next to you).”

In another part, when Kiku Sharda came in and asked Moushumi if he could take one banana from the table, she quipped, “Ahaha, bade aye Maa ke dulaare (Oh, how obedient you act).” When Krushna Abhishek tried to say his lines and stood in front of her and did a funny movement, Moushumi asked him, “Apko kya bathroom jana hai? (Do you want to go to the bathroom)” The actor’s sassy comeback left the audience laughing.

Moushumi was last seen in Shoojit Sircar’s Piku (2015) alongside Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan. Some of the most notable works of Moushumi Chatterjee include Anuraag (1972), Roti Kapada Aur Makaan (1974), Manzil (1979), Angoor (1982), and Ghar Ek Mandir (1984) among others. She received a Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015.
