Directed by Nilesh Krishnaa and scripted by Krishnaa, “Annapoorani” features Nayanthara in the leading role.
Nayanthara is all set to come back to the big screen after delivering her hit Bollywood debut, Jawan. She will be seen in the upcoming comedy-drama, titled Annapoorani (the Goddess of Food). The first teaser from the film was unveiled on the festive season.

The teaser begins with a glimpse of Sri Rangam in Trichy. A small house is seen where a traditional Brahmin family resides in one of Agraharams. As family members are seen busy with their worship duties, Nayanthara’s character finally gets introduced.
She is seen engrossed in a book related to management and business. However, it turns out she is actually reading a recipe on a chicken dish, hidden inside the book. She looks stunning in a traditional look with a saree. Renuka appears as her mother. Throughout the teaser, S Thaman’s version of Rangapura Vihara by MS Subbulakshmi can be heard.
Actors Jai, Sathyaraj, Achyuth Kumar, KS Ravikumar, Redin Kingsly, Achyuth Kumar, Kumari Sachu, Karthik Kumar and Suresh Chakkaravarthy are also a part of Annapoorani. Directed by Nilesh Krishna, the film music is composed by Thaman S.

Reacting to the teaser, many fans have hailed Nayanthara for the character.
