 A sequel to Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal’s 2012 film “OMG – Oh My God,” it focuses on promoting sex education among adolescents through a gripping story about a middle-class family.

Actors Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam’s upcoming film OMG 2 has got censor certification for viewing by 12+ age group in UAE and Oman without any cuts.

The film, which is the sequel to Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal’s 2012 film OMG – Oh My God, is said to promote awareness and the need for sex education amongst adolescents, through a gripping story of a middle-class family.

Confirming the news, Ajit Andhare, COO, Viacom 18 motion pictures, says, “Happy to share that censor authorities in Oman have cleared our film OMG 2 in 12+ category without any cuts. Film has also been cleared for exhibition by censor authority in UAE while Quebec, Canada has cleared it in General category without cuts.”

Notably, the Indian censor board has cleared the film, slated to release in theatres on August 11, with an ‘adults only’ certificate.
